Description

uNight is a not-for-profit committed to supporting a homegrown, sustainable and market-driven approach to post-conflict redevelopment. Our aim is to invest in young leaders to help rebuild northern Uganda. Through grassroots programs in Uganda, which are in turn buttressed by US-based campaigns, uNight offers talented and driven youth in Uganda the opportunities, resources, confidence and social capital they need to succeed.

uNight's Youth Leadership and Entrepreneurship Initiative (uYLEI) develops the potential of youth leaders and entrepreneurs to create wealth, generate jobs, call others to action and serve as sources of inspiration for their peers to follow. The success of uYLEI will demonstrate that nurturing and expanding the pool of young talent is a vital and productive way to catalyze the empowerment and socio-economic transformation of aid-dependent, impoverished, and deeply traumatized populations.
