Radar is a non-profit transportation organization that contracts with area social service agencies,governments and organizations to provide transportation services for their clients or citizens. The goals of RADAR are to provide a consolidated system to meet the varied transportation needs of human service agencies and the general public though purchase of service agreements. At present Radar operates sixty vehicles, which includes cars, vans and buses. Approximately two thirds of the fleet is handicap accessible. All vehicles are equipped with 2-way radios and safety equipment. Radar drivers are trained in defensive driving, CPR and Passenger Assistance techniques.
