Description

The Umatilla County Commission on Children and Families (CCF) is a group of 8-14 community volunteers who are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to develop and oversee a Comprehensive Plan of Services for Families. Our mission is to promote the wellness of children and families in Umatilla County. We are also commissioned to support programs that enhance the lives of young children and provide quality child care. The Local CCF determines how state and federal grant funds are used based on their assessment of community needs. This concept affirms that local people are the best ones to make decisions about programs that are important to our local communities.
