Since 1947, A project of the Kiwanis Clubs of Illinois and Indiana, Twin Lakes Camp, located in Plymouth Indiana, provides therapuetic recreation in a resident camp setting every summer for thousands of children and young adults with all forms of disabilities including Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, crippling accidents, Epilepsy, Downs Syndrome, Quadriplegia, Paraplegia, Autism, among others. We are now the only such camp serving Illinois and Indiana. Camp activities are never obstacles because all are adapted to meet each individual’s needs, ensuring the pride of experiencing success. Most campers require their own counselor to assist them with personal, therapeutic, and recreational needs. We are proud of the lives we have touched and enriched and we are committed to continuing this legacy.
