Description
The Tulsa Peace Fellowship is directly inspired by the antiwar advocacy of Martin Luther King. TPF aims to help make peace, social uplift, and nonviolence the nation's top priorities, rather than militarization.
"Reduce military spending, Rebuild America!"
TPF is the grassroots activist wing of the peace movement in Eastern Oklahoma. If you live in E. Oklahoma, please join our social networking tool online: http://tulsapeacefellowship.ning.com
TPF offers citizens from Tulsa, Owasso, Bartlesville, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Claremore, Vinita, Muskogee, Tahlequah, and other communities further afield in Oklahoma, the tools and resources to participate personally in our democracy. By conscientiously exploring peaceful options and just solutions, we hope to spare the lives of more innocent people affected by violence throughout the world.
Through its counter-recruitment task force, TPF is a member of the National Network Opposed to the Militarization of Youth (NNOMY).
