Description

Tryon Arts & Crafts provides education and instruction through a variety of classes and workshops. The organization’s mission is to provide creative opportunities for everyone through education, instruction and expression of heritage and contemporary arts and crafts in a friendly, stimulating and enriching environment. Classes and workshops are offered in seven professional equipped studios. Tryon Arts & Crafts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was chartered by the state of North Carolina in 1960. The Heritage Gallery at the facility exhibits artifacts from the past two centuries, while the Gift Shop demonstrates the talents of current members, students and instructors. The organization hosts events in the gallery and on the grounds of the school. One of the highlights each year is the Fall Arts and Crafts Festival held in October.
