Description

Truancy Intervention Project’s principal goal is to address excessive absenteeism before it leads to children dropping out of school. The key component of TIP’s program consists of paring trained mentors with each truant. The mentor meets regularly with the child, works to address the child’s concerns and issues, and often assists with the identification of resources to deal with other matters facing the family.

Since inception in 1991, TIP has an overall success rate of 81% - Thanks for joining in the fight to end school failure!
