Description

Therapeutic horseback riding for children and adults with mental or physical disabilities.

Five equitherapy programs of “Hooves, Hearts and Heroes”, a collaborative program with local area schools to provide therapeutic riding for special needs students, “ From Fear to Responsibility” a work-to-ride program for “at-risk” youth referred by schools or residential facilities for troubled and abused children, “Wheels of Freedom”, a therapeutic driving program for older children and adults with mental or physical disabilities, including disabled war veterans from local military or veteran’s hospitals, the “Way of Equus” a equine assisted mental health program for youth and adults with emotional challenges and “Riding to Independence”, a program that provides therapeutic riding for individuals with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities.
