For 123 years, Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran School has been educating children about the love God has “rooted and established” in all of us. We recently were nominated for the prestigious U.S. Department of Education’s Blue Ribbon Schools award because our students achieve at the top 10% in the nation.
But what is most important to us is to instill Christian values and principles into the future leaders and achievers of our world. Knowledge will come and go, but our Christian beliefs and ideals will endure for eternity. We need young people whose highest goal is not simply becoming well off financially, but who seek to be great by serving others (Matt. 20:27). We need young people full of compassion. We need young people who are life-long learners, learning the things that really matter—an eternal perspective, ethics, compassion, and a relationship to God.
