Description
The Triangle Rails-to-Trails Conservancy (TRTC) is the prime volunteer advocacy organization for the American Tobacco Trail (ATT), a 22 mile-long rail-trail project running from downtown Durham, south through Chatham County and into Wake County. TRTC, in cooperation with local municipalities, also maintains and manages over 8 miles of the ATT in southern Durham and Chatham counties so that trail users can use it now, as an improved surface trail, years before it is formally constructed.
