Description
Transition Whidbey (TW), a 501c3 non-profit organization, is part of an international network of vibrant, grassroots community
initiatives that seek to build community resilience in the face of such challenges as peak oil, climate change and the economic crisis. We nurture and strengthen our community for current and future generations.
We educate, engage and empower individuals to create sustainable local projects that act in response to resource constraints. We build collaborations with educational, civic, religious and service organizations, producing resilient food, energy, and economic systems within our bio-regional community.
