Tolerance Minnesota

The mission of Tolerance Minnesota is to create a more tolerant and just society by promoting understanding of all cultures and reducing prejudicial and hurtful behaviors. Founded in 2001 by the Jewish Community Relations Council, Tolerance Minnesota promotes understanding of cultural, racial and lifestyle differences through innovative diversity education and professional development training. The goal of Tolerance Minnesota is for all students, educators and community members we reach to have an understanding of the diverse individuals and groups in their community, respect for themselves and others, and the courage to confront prejudice. Tolerance Minnesota incorporates themes of art, literature, music and sports into existing school curricula to help confront prejudice and respect diversity in the classroom and beyond.
