Together Inc. of Metropolitan Omaha provides emergency relief services to local people, in crisis situations. Homeless Prevention is a primary area of focus.
We believe that each resident of Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie Counties should have free access to quality food, clothing, and shelter assistance.
With poverty rates increasing to 14.8% in Nebraska, families are becoming even more vulnerable to food insecurity and the threat of homelessness. We exist to prevent hunger and homelessness in our community, one person at a time.
We are ensuring that the basic living needs of all metro residents are met. Personal disasters can happen every day, sending families into a crisis situation.
We started helping local people in 1975 by responding to the needs of the people affected by the Omaha tornado disaster. Today, Together Inc. stands ready to help with life’s disasters; such as the loss of a job, an injury or house fire. Together, we can help.
