Description
This non-profit provides residential and outpatient treatment for adults with serious mental illnesses. People who generally qualify for treatment are adults with a major mental illness, (e.g., schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression, several personality disorders, and a low score on ability to function in the community). Started as a response to the national deinstitutionalism movement of the 1960's, Toby House provides opportunities for people to begin recovery from mental illness and frequently substance abuse.
