Description
Tiyatien Health is a 501(c)(3) non-profit social justice organization that builds equitable models of primary healthcare within the public sector. Organized as a unique partnership between rural communities and Liberia- and US-based health professionals Tiyatien, meaning "truth" and "justice" in a local Liberian dialect, promotes equity by advancing healthcare services and the fundamental rights of the poor.
Our Vision: Tiyatien's long-term vision is to expand healthcare and social services across southeastern Liberia – helping rebuild the region's public health system while tackling the twin epidemics of disease and poverty.
