Three Rivers Cooperative is a small, non-profit, family-run, alternative school that provides a fun and supportive educational experience to approximately thirty children ages 4-13. Our school is located on a family farm, with ample opportunities for exploring the natural world. Our curriculum is focused around themes that interest the children, encourages creative expression and fosters the understanding of cultural diversity, social responsibility, and environmental ethics. We also nurture skill-building in a way that honors the unique progress of each student individually, while emphasizing cooperation as a group. Parents are the working backbone of the Center and also teach classes and workshops throughout the year. Teachers provide support to parents who are responsible for their own child’s education. Three Rivers is dedicated to nurturing the passion for life-long learning and creating a diverse and supportive community network.
