Description

Thomas County Family Connection is described as a community advocate. A network of more than seventy local partners, voluntarily representing over forty–five organizations dedicated to work in partnership, encourage, support and promote improvements, and ultimately connect Thomas County’s children and families with existing or needed resources. We are dedicated to promoting the well-being of the future for our community.

Our partners include families, faith-and civic-based organizations, human service providers, community and business leaders, state legislators, and local elected officials.

Our energy is focused on improving literacy rates, poverty issues, high school graduation rates, awareness of dangers of substance abuse and gang activity and creation of the children's advocacy center.

Thomas County Family Connection receives an annual $50,000 state funded grant and Thomas County Department of Family and Children Services serves as our fiscal agent.
