Description
It is the purpose of Theradrama to provide ongoing theatre arts training, life rehearsal programs, and performance opportunities to the advantage of individuals with developmental delay, autism or recovering from mental illness.
Theradrama’s goal is to challenge, enlighten and train this population, in theatre arts and to give them a practical arena to learn social skills, examine new work situations, create performances of their work and discover how far their individual abilities can take them.
In addition, Theradrama will develop and perform new plays, musicals and performance art that will help to introduce the general population to the life, and needs of the mentally challenged.
