Description

For 45 years internationally acclaimed Theatre West has provided artist members with opportunities for artistic growth through moderated Workshops in acting, writing, musical comedy, and Shakespeare as well as a free two year program for young professionals. Our productions have moved to Broadway, film, Off-Broadway, Edinburgh and Dublin, and won many awards Theatre West has won including Tony, Obie, BBC Scotland, NAACP Image, Ovation, LA Critics Circle, Dramalogue and ADA Awards. Our Storybook Theatre division is in its 20th year of providing interactive, non threatening musicals with a message children aged 3 – 9, one of only 2 companies for children under a union contract in the entire City of Los Angeles.

Theatre West has included some of the most famous theatrical names to grace Hollywood, including current members Beau and Jeff Bridges, Betty Garrett, Harold Gould, Lee Meriwether, Bridget Hanley, Marvin Kaplan, and Jim Beaver.
