Description
Theatre of NOTE provides a creative environment for ensemble theatre artists to collaborate on cutting-edge theatrical pieces. NOTE was founded in Los Angeles in 1981 as a non-profit company dedicated to producing original, thought-provoking theatre. Our work is frequently recognized by all major Los Angeles area theatre awards and has twice been spotlighted in AMERICAN THEATRE MAGAZINE. BACKSTAGE WEST, in a 2002 special “Actors We Love” issue, chose to profile Christopher Walken, John Malkovich, Holly Hunter and “The Theatre of NOTE Ensemble.” In 2003, the LA WEEKLY referred to us as “pioneering voices in American theatre.”
