Description
Independent Living Center assists people with any type of disability with goal setting and attaining self reliance.
We serve young children through Sr. Citizens by matching them with service providers or we tailor services using our staff to meet the individual needs.
Examples are; assisting deaf, hard of hearing, and others with accessing the community, participating in sports programs etc.
other examples are; assisting some one with a new disabling circumstance with making adjustments in their homes with modifications that allpw them to use their home more efficiently or connecting them with people who have successfully navigated similar experiences and are willing to be a peer mentor.
