n April of 2006, The Way Free Medical Clinic opened its doors, for the first time, to meet an increasing demand for basic medical care for the indigent migrant population of the Green Cove Springs and surrounding areas of Clay County, Florida.The Way not only provides free basic medical services, but also laboratory testing, referral services, prescription medications and educational services to all clients. The Way has clients from many backgrounds and ethnicities. All, however, are without insurance and qualify financially at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
