Description

The Old Brick Playhouse Company is a non-profit arts organization located in the Allegheny Highlands, in Elkins, WV. The Old Brick has been extant since 1992 offering educational theatre and arts program to students considererd "at risk" in the Mid Atlantic region focusing mainly on West Virginia. The Old Brick Playhouse offers touring educational theatre production to elementary school students performing to a cumulative audience of over one million children in the last decade. The Old Brick Playhouse also offers after school and summer educational theatreprograms for students ages five to eighteen. Currently, the Old Brick has one hundred after school students and over eight hundred alumni. Finally, our newest program called Acting Up Literally provides after school mentoring for local first and second graders who are having difficulty learning to read.
