Description
Since 1976, The Kent Center has provided behavioral healthcare services to adults, teens, children and families living primarily in the communities of Kent County, Rhode Island. The Kent Center is guided by a vision and set of principles that are dedicated to improving the quality of life in our communities by promoting growth, mutual indepedence and recovery.
The Kent Center provides outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, community-based services for people with serious and persistent mental illness, and youth and family services. The Kent Center serves over 3,500 people a year, most of whom are considered to have low to low-moderate income levels and many of whom are uninsured or underinsured.
