Description
For over 32, The Joseph Meyerhoff Senior Center has been providing a variety of programs and services to the older adults and their families in the greater Hollywood, FL area. Caring for our frial elderly through in-facility and in-home respite programs, we support those caring for people with dementia including Alzheimer's disease.
Many of our independent clients are isolated elderly who live alone and need socialiation and a place to gather. We provide a place for a hot meal, sometimes the only hot meal of the day for the low income clients.
We provide counseling and support groups as well as provide information and referral, all that can be a lifeline for those in need.
