Description
We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected horses within the State of New Mexico. Our home is near the town of Cerrillos, south of Santa Fe, where we have a 'round-the-clock barn manager and facilities for about fifty horses.
The Horse Shelter depends on the kindness of individual donors whose financial support comprises the majority of our funding. We rely heavily on a dedicated group of volunteers who assist in caring for our horses.
