The Florida A&M University Foundation, Inc is a living organization which is vital to the progress of the University. As a non-profit organization, Florida A&M University Foundation, Inc. is established with the specific mandate to serve as a custodian of contributions from the private sector, alumni, friends, and industry. FA&MU Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Florida on August 3, 1966 as a non-profit organization and is a charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
