Description
The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School is a 5th-8th grade middle school in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City. TEP believes that teacher quality if the most important factor in achieving educational equity for low income students. Spurred by this belief, TEP reallocates its public funds by making an unprecedented investment in attracting and retaining great teachers. TEP will value its teachers through a revolutionary compensation of $125K plus a performace based bonus.
