The Custody Project, assisting qualified mothers with visitation and custody expenses, recognizes that financial catastrophes can erupt when legal costs must take precedence to preserve a family’s welfare – and such devastating reversals can topple fragile familial stability. To prevent this, our grants help with the legal expenses or, when they have been paid, with rent, mortgage, and other common necessities forfeited to cover these costs. Founded in 1994, The Custody Project promotes the general welfare, both directly and indirectly, of women and their children as a unit as related to care, custody, and visitation issues, and has been helping families for over eighteen years.
