Description
The Custody Projects assists mothers and their children with visitation and custody expenses, in accordance with its mission. Its mission is to promote the general welfare, both directly and indirectly, of women and their children as a unit as related to care, custody and visitation issues. TCP recognizes that a financial domino often occurs when legal expenses must take precedence to preserve a family's welfare. Oftentimes, to meet legal expenses, common necessities must be forfeited. For this reason, our grants assist families directly with legal expenses or, when legal expenses have been paid, with food, utilities, rent, mortgage, car, health, educational and other expenses which had to be forfeited to cover the legal expenses. Founded in 1994, The Custody Project has been helping families for over sixteen years.
