At The Connection, we have the clear goal of developing followers of Jesus who love God, love people and take the gospel to our community and the world. Our purpose is best explained with the acrostic: GOD, Others, Destiny. We help people connect to God through sharing our faith in an authentic and relevant way in our community and the world. We also help people deepen their connection with God by mentoring them and providing venues where they can connect with God through worship, spiritual gifts and instruction in the Bible. We connect people to Others by modeling loving, caring and healthy relationships and by encouraging and providing opportunities for their development. We connect people with their Destiny (life purpose) through prayer, encouragement and training for service in an environment where they can identify and utilize their gifts which are for reaching our community and others worldwide with the Good News, so that eternally we will all worship before the throne together.
