The Coalition Against Rape and Abuse-C.A.R.A. is a Nonprofit Organization serving all of Cape May County, New Jersey. The Board & Staff of C.A.R.A are committed to providing support, housing, and safety through education, advocacy, and innovative programs in partnership with the community and other service providers.
Our organization operates on a 24 hour 7 days a week basis. C.A.R.A. offers free and confidential Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault counseling, legal, and support services, while also operating our 24 hour crisis hotline, advocate outreach, and shelter services. Essentially we strive for the Empowerment of our clients to achieve a peaceful resolution and to facilitate their journey to independence.
