Description

The Center for Victim Recovery is a survivor driven 501(c)(3) non-profit formed out of concern that the majority of crime victims in Seminole County, FL are not receiving any mental health assistance or support for a number of reasons. This group includes victims of rape, stalking and other violent crime. Many do not qualify for the Victims Compensation Program. Most are not victims of domestic violence. Many have not reported their crimes out of fear of the perpetrator or the fact the perpetrator is a family member. A crime victim should not have to choose between buying groceries and getting mental health assistance to deal with the trauma they have suffered. We are hoping to soon have funding from both private donors and government grants so we can open our Center and help these victims of crime and violence in need. Please donate at our website today.
