Description
The Bridge. The name of a unique nonprofit agency whose goal is to help the children that live in some of Jacksonville Florida's most crime infested, impoverished neighborhoods. An agency that works to build bridges connecting those children to the opportunities they need to overcome the despair of their surroundings and to aspire to a life where their dreams can come true.
The Bridge of Northeast Florida Inc. is a 501 © (3) with its main campus located in the urban core in the Springfield neighborhood. While there are other neighborhood programs providing after school activities, only The Bridge operates a “holistic” model that addresses academics, health, social enrichment, mentoring, job skills training and jobs.
