Description
The Arc of Virginia is a statewide, non-profit advocacy organization comprised of individuals with disabilities, families, and professionals who care about people who have intellectual disabilities (sometimes called mental retardation) and related developmental disabilities. It is affiliated with The Arc of the United States. There are 22 local chapters of The Arc that are members of both the National organization and The Arc of Virginia.
Our Vision is that people with intellectual and related developmental disabilities are valued as classmates, coworkers, neighbors, citizens and friends, or what we call-“A Life Like Yours”.
