Description
Stone Belt Arc is a nonprofit organization offering education, empowerment and support for people with disabilities and their families. We believe in the uniqueness, worth and right to self-determination of every individual. We are the oldest and largest agency of our kind in South Central Indiana, providing residential, employment, manufacturing, life skills training, family support and psychological services to over 1500 people annually, helping them to actively participate in their community. We have a wide variety of programs and services catered to the individual: group homes and supported independent living; classroom and community-based instruction; agency based vocational training and workshop employment; community-based supported employment. Our nationally accredited programs are regularly cited as exemplary. Services are provided with a person-centered, customized approach that focuses on a person's capabilities and interests.
