The mission of The Arc of Delaware is to advocate for the rights and full participation of all children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Together with our members, our partners throughout Delaware, and with The Arc of the United States, we improve systems of supports and services, connect families, inspire communities and influence public policy.
The Arc has a full range of services to support the needs of the more than 20,000 Delawareans who have a developmental disability and their families. We have the largest disabilities housing program in the state, providing homes to 318 people. These 83 homes reduce homelessness and also contribute valuable affordable housing inventory in all three counties in Delaware.
Our case management programs provide essential services to clients with the most significant needs. We offer emergency services, health care referrals, guardianship and educational counseling.
