TCAA serves as the community’s (Tempe & Scottsdale, AZ) primary safety net social service agency, assisting several thousand households annually. The agency’s mission is to empower our community members to address basic needs to live with dignity, self-reliance and optimum health. The Senior Action Program’s goal is to help older adults in Tempe and Scottsdale remain independent and avoid premature institutionalization in alignment with our overall mission. The home delivered meals service is a particularly critical component that supports individuals in maintaining their independence. For many individuals, without our service, they would not be able to continue to live in their own home as they are not otherwise able to shop and or cook for themselves.
