Description
The McGovern Center is a comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment facility. Senator George McGovern upon the death of his daughter (Terry) from alcoholism and depression supported the building of the McGovern Center; A full spectrum of treatment services are available including emergency services, residential treatment, intensive outpatient care, outpatient treatment, adolescent and family therapy, and "Alcohol Smart" prevention classes for under age University students.
