Description

The City is a 14,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art teen entertainment and educational facility located in Salina, Kansas. The City is operated by TeenTown, Inc., a 501(C)(3) non-profit providing services to the teens of Salina and the surrounding counties. The City was built to provide teens a safe and fun alternative to at-risk behaviors and negative peer pressure.

The City in open on the weekends for kids to have a place to call their own. The City includes billiards, indoor basketball, a movie theater, dance club, and arcade. For a low $5 cover charge teens get use of all areas of the building for free.

In addition to weekends, The City operates a leadership program, ALIVE at The City, and will soon launch an after-school program to raise graduation rates among minority students.

The City will soon celebrate its fifth anniversary and attendance of 100,000 students.
