Team West Haven Inc. Mission Statement

Team West Haven Inc. provides year-round social programs, sports training and opportunities for participation in various Special Olympic competitions (for children aged from 7 years of age to adults) on a Local, Regional, State, National and World Games levels. The program is offered to children and adults who are intellectually challenged and those that are not (Special Partners.)

Opportunities to strengthen member’s physical condition and enhance their social interaction skills by participating with other members, their families, coaches and volunteers from the community. We work on integrating the members of the team into their community whenever possible by holding socials, recreational activities, and participating in community events. The members of Team West Haven, Inc. provides activities in a safe and least restrictive environment.
