Description
Founded in memory of Tawny Martin, who was killed by a drunk driver, Jan. 29, 2006, the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission statement of the Foundation is, "In support of the physical, spiritual and emotional well-being of today's youth."
Examples of projects sponsored and funded by the Foundation are: a teen drunk driving prevention campaign with presentations at area high schools, multiple toy drives for Toys for Tots, cash grants in a program we call All God’s Creatures, and establishment of an area youth activity center.
We annually hold a Tawny Martin Memorial Barrel Race in which we raise funds to support our many youth-centered projects.
