Description

Community Action assists low-income families with emergency food and/or shelter, financial assistance for GED/ABE classes or other job-readiness trainings, or secondary education to complete a degree, provides gas cards or bus tokens for educational travel expenses, and partners with local businesses to help attain jobs for our clients. Tallatoona also has Head Start Preschool for low-income households and a weatherization department to help lower energy costs for the elderly.
