TAG's philosophy is that all children are capable of successful academic acceleration, regardless of their economic or social status. At TAG we progress through the Arizona Academic Standards at a much faster pace than most schools in our community.
We also encourage our students to think about college and/or other continuing education options beginning at a very young age. We also encourage students to understand economics and the relationship between poverty, teen pregnancy, lack of education and poor job skills.
Talented and Gifted Elementary has approximately 350 students in grades K thru 8. We are small enough to still be pesonal and get to know our students and their families. Our teachers are all highly qualified and certified and many have master degrees.
