Description

We are a non-profit, educational institution offering grades 7-12. We emphasize Science, Math, and individual attention, but all gen. ed. courses are avail. Our classes are smaller than your average public school and we operate on less funds than the public schools in our district. Our curriculum, is a college preparatory approach and ALL of our instructors are NYS certified. Last year 100% of our seniors, recieved their Regents Diplomas & 80% of them recieved college acceptances! We need any help we can obtain, in ANY format. The majority of our families come from low-income, urban households. We are changing the way city schools perform from the inside and we are determined to continue to perform above our districts averages, having done so since 2004. (SASCS began in 2003) Now, even our ELA and Math State Exam averages have exceeded the NY State average.
