Survivor Mitzah Project

The Survivor Mitzvah Project is the only organization in the world providing continual and direct financial aid to those elderly and forgotten Jewish Holocaust Survivors scattered throughout Eastern Europe who are sick, impoverished, isolated and receive no direct financial aid from any other agency, the German government or the Claims Committee. Their families and communities destroyed by the Nazis, these forgotten individuals struggle to survive in their few remaining years, lacking the means to buy even the most basic of human necessities: food, medicine, heat and shelter. Most live alone in harsh conditions. We are committed to our primary goal of making sure that no elderly survivor, who has witnessed first-hand the horrors of the Holocaust, ever be hungry or neglected in their final years.
