Support the Cure is a charity dedicated to inspiring the philanthropy of a younger generation while adapting to the needs of the global community.
Support The Cure was founded in 2006 by a group of five friends aimed at accomplishing two goals, one: to bring an often apathetic younger generation into philanthropy and two: to help support the cure for global issues. We began this charity because each of us had someone in our lives that had been affected by breast cancer--a mother, aunt, friend--and we felt it was time to help fight back. As we discussed our goals we realized that there is so much more in the world that affects us and those we love.
As a result we chose the name “Support the Cure” as each year our event will raise money for a different global cause.
