Description
A community arts organization located in Upper Darby, PA (Greater Philadelphia area) that provides underserved neighborhood children with free after school and Saturday classes in all of the arts, English as a Second Language along with citizenship test tutoring, and field trips to Philadelphia arts (and other) institutions of interest.
Sunshine Arts employs two full-time artists in residence, an executive director, a media manager, and many more volunteers and specialty instructors. Sunshine Arts' board members are also quite active in support of the organization.
S.A. serves approximately 100 children from the immediate and surrounding neighborhoods.
