Description
Summit Educational Resources is Western New York’s largest not-for-profit provider of educational and therapeutic services to nearly 1800 children and adolescents with autism, language disorders, and related developmental disabilities. Our mission is to prepare children and young adults with developmental disabilities for life success. It is our vision that every child with a disability will achieve a full and productive life. For more than 35 years, we have provided educational and support services to children and families through our specialized school setting, in-home services, public school consulting, and collaborative programs in community settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
In addition to developmental delays, many of our students are non-verbal, and have a dual diagnosis of autism or moderate to severe intellectual deficits as well. These students typically require highly structured environments and small group settings to be successful.
