Sultana Projects, Inc. works to promote stewardship of the Chesapeake Bay through innovative and experiential education for school children and adults. Based in Chestertown, Maryland, the organization is known for its award-winning history and environmental programs aboard the historic reproduction schooner Sultana, "The Schoolship of the Chesapeake." Since 2001, Sultana Projects has provided more than 30,000 students with opportunities to learn about the Bay and its estuaries.
